Looks like this place closed down even before covid, guess you can't blame everything on covid. It was not my style of restaurant, but it was a good restaurant that had a really good run. My hat goes out to it, and I send the best of luck to those who worked here in finding another gastronomical adventure.

This is more of an homage than a review as, sadly, the Corner Table is closing its doors at the end of July 2019. I don't consider myself a foodie, or a food snob, or a gastronome. But I do know a great dining experience when I am fortunate enough to encounter it. By any measure, the Corner Table is (or was) the best dining experience in the Twin Cities: ambience, service, wine list, menu, ingredients, food prep, taste and, of course, service. Those who have experienced the Corner Table are in mourning. The place, the staff, the food will all be missed. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this extraordinary dining experience. Your efforts will not soon be forgotten.

Came here for an anniversary celebration with bae. Amazing service that started off with complimentary sparkling rosé and warm pop overs with honey butter. Ambience was cute, friendly, not pretentious at all (unlike some similar price range restaurants in the cities)! First course: Duck dumplings - filled with large amounts of shredded duck meat over a cabbage slaw - very tasty but not anything too shocking or different Swedish meatball - so juicy and the lingonberries served on the side were perfect round bubbles of tart juice that balanced the meatball's fattiness perfectly Second course: Papardelle - perfectly al dente, rich sauce, highly recommend Risotto - probably our least favorite dish of the night, the risotto was chopped into tiny pieces and not creamy like you assume risotto will be Third course: Lamb - served two ways, the medium rare sliced lamb was melt-in-your-mouth-dream-about-it-for-weeks delicious. Would have loved a plate full of just that! Of course it also came with a yummy lamb sausage, yogurt sauce with peas and warm naan bread. Yum yum. Lake trout - very tender fish, served on top of a creamy, fresh tasty purée that I believe was made of asparagus and cured egg yolk Dessert - chocolate and cashew ganache with coconut ice cream. Good end to a beautiful meal!

Brent was his name and service was his game. He was the most upbeat and delightful server. He answered all of our questions about the menu and things to try. We got the duck, broccolini, and pappardelle. Really good texture, great flavor. Everything was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was on point. It was also one of the best experiences I've had. Our server came over and asked if we were ready for the next course and made sure to refill our wine glasses from the bottle we ordered. The ambiance was pleasant and chill. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other courses.

I always love a restaurant that has a great atmosphere and a plethora of flavors in their dishes. I would've appreciated the server explaining the menu better though. When I was sat, I went with the 3 course tasting menu thinking that was the only option not realizing you could order the dishes ala carte. All the dishes were very tasty though. My favorite was the bone in pork belly which melted in your mouth and bison main course. I'm glad I came to try this restaurant and I'll try to come back but most likely order ala carte to save money.

I had a great experience here. We drove here and luckily there was an open spot for parking. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and showed to our table. They only do prix fixe menu $49 per person, but you do get to choose what to get from appetizer, first and second course. 1. Reservation: Necessary. The place was packed and without reservation, you won't get a table. 2. Food: AMAZING SO GOOD! I was extremely pleased with the display, the taste and overall service. - foie gras and black sesame gâteau: so amazing. It looked like a cake, tasted amazing, well chilled and it does get defrosted while you're eating and you get to try in both forms. The cherry that comes with it, I cannot even stop talking about how delicious it was. I'm salivating remembering. - pappardelle, gjetost cheese: the best pasta I've had in a while - bone in pork belly, apricot, black poplar mushrooms: I have never had bone-in way, but it is so well done, it falls off the bone very easily, it is pork belly, quite fatty, but tastes great. there was literally only 2 pieces of mushroom, so you're actually just getting a big meat (see picture), but still great. - wild acres duck breast, nectarine, groats: was quite chewy and at times hard to cut, but still very good. - I personally quite enjoyed my french pinot noir. They do have a great selection. DESSERT: (see pictures) WOW This really gotta be a separate category. - panna cotta with petit grapes: so good! the grapes are delicious but very acid-y, reminded me of black currant. great combination. - donuts: I am simply not a donut person, yet I found them good. - chocolate dessert with raspberry sorbet: Highly recommend this one. 3. Service: GREAT Our server was knowledgable, relatable, patient and overall best service. 2 other people who brought our meals and helped clean the table, all very pleasant. If you simply observe the kitchen and service people interacting (it is open kitchen), they are happy, cooperative and look like they enjoy their work and even having fun. Parking spots were limited, so I'd recommend coming early to find a space nearby. I would highly recommend this place. I've already made reservation for girls' night. Very intimate setting, great location for dates and/or to simply enjoy great food and equally great service.

What a fantastic experience! I love Corner Table for so many reasons. The ambiance is quaint, cozy and intimate. From the minute we walked in until we left the service was superb, and to top it off the prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of food on the menu. We had a group of four so deciding what to order was easy. We got one of each from the pre fixe menu since there are four options. For the first course I loved the pumpkin custard but you have to enjoy the flavor of pumpkin to really get behind this. The bison carpaccio was also a favorite of the table. For the second course the pappardelle and pork belly were the table winners. I would definitely order the pappardelle on it's own because it so was delicious. For the third course the pot roast and the celery root pave were the standout dishes. They paired very nicely with each other and had just the right amount of flavor without being too rich. At the conclusion of dinner, our waiter gave us complimentary sweet potato donuts that were so scrumptious, and may have been my favorite part of the whole meal. I loved our experience and I would HIGHLY recommend Corner Table to anyone looking for something a little more upscale but relaxed dining environment. Advance reservations are a must!
